Can I just say OMG! Thank you so much to all the staff for what can only be described as the most amazing birthday surprise ever. Having a birthday on Valentines Day has always been tricky in terms of having a nice meal out but Cafe Paradiso superseded all my birthday expectations. Being a native of Cork I always knew the restaurant existed but just never managed to eat there. I’m not a vegetarian but that did nothing to detract from my enjoyment of the amazing food on offer! I cannot thank you guys enough and especially the staff who were on duty 14th February who made my birthday very special and definately one to remember.

We dined and stayed at Cafe Paradiso on Friday June 7th. It had been on our “to-do” list for quite some time. Our experience surpassed our expectations. The lion’s mane mushroom main course was yummy – amazing sauce! It’s a “must-do” when in Cork. We eagerly await another opportunity to pamper ourselves at Cafe Paradiso.

Having lived outside of Cork for a while. it had been a while since we had the pleasure of visiting Café Paradiso. Last Sat we made it for a late dinner and all we can say is ‘WOW’. Café Paradiso is one of the finest restaurants in the world in any genre. The food is innovative, aromatic and gorgeous. The staff, friendly and efficient and the atmosphere relaxed, inclusive and sophisticated. If vegetarian food can taste this good and a top class restaurant can be as accessible as this then eating as we know it has effectively been reinvented.
