Paradiso has been honoured at the global World Restaurant Awards, winning the category ‘Collaboration of the Year’ for its work with Gortnanain Farm. Denis Cotter was at the ceremony in Paris on Monday 18th February to accept the award, as was his collaborator-in-chief, Ultan Walsh of Gortnanain Farm.

Even in an era of awards overkill, this is a hugely satisfying honour for Paradiso, for the chef behind it, Denis Cotter, and by extension for Ultan and Lucy of Gortnain Farm also, as it recognises and celebrates the working relationship between restaurant and farm that has been at the heart of what Paradiso is for almost two decades.

Guestbook? Very 1997 that, you say. Well, this one’s been around that long and we’ve loved receiving and publishing feedback from around the world. If you’re more inclined towards the busy high street of all things webby, go to our Tripadvisor page to have your say. On the other hand, if you have a fondness for the old-school or a tendency to the quietly retro, do please post a message here. Go on …Sign the guestbook
found you on a websearch before we came , phoned and booked .
ate at the paradiso early september , friday night , remember to book !
food wonderful , the best combinations of tastes we have ever experienced .
it was even better than the reviews . really nice unassuming place to eat .
not ridiculously expensive either .
try the quay co op as well , not in the same class of course but filling and cheap !
I agree you need to showcase a few recipes on your site, like Wolfgang Puck or Delia. That’s life these days – anyway you’ll be moving on to new recipes by the time we make them!
Not a single recipe on your site to tempt us?
Last Wednesday we had dinner at Cafe Paradiso. Never had such great food in such a super ambiance! Unfortunately it was also our last day in Ireland. Thank you all for making our “last supper” such a memorable one. We hope to return one day!
Best regards to all of you, from the Double Dessert Dutch ladies.
I moved to Toronto from Cork almost a year ago and despite the thousands of restaurants here, I miss Cafe Paradiso terribly. I’ve had so many memorable heavenly meals there and I can’t wait to go back…
Keep up the amazing work guys!
Got the new book – Paradiso Seasons – congratulations Denis on another superb cookbook. Always love eating at the resturant as often as I can. Wishing you, Bridget and all the staff continued success.
Have heard fantastic reviews from housemates and friends about Cafe Paradiso – finally booked a table for tonight to decide for myself! A look at the menu should make the afternoon at work pass a little easier… Looking forward to it!….
Do you do home delivery? I’m salivating just from reading the menu!
Love to you all and see you soon I hope!
